Quality assurance system for the production of safety-relevant
seams
The 3745 guarantees and controls a perfect break point seam on
side airbags. The system monitors and documents every stitch in
the area of the rated break point seam with a patented sensor.
The senor controls the thread force and detects skipped stitches.
Skip stitches are also detected in non-documented areas. The system
monitors the amount of stitches and documents the use of the proper
threads.
The automatic thread force device reacts to various sewing circumstances
such as material change und guarantees process reliability –
independent of the operator.
